This wiki page is to record communication and activities associated with Martin Smith and the MET Project. The goal is to assist planning and ensure that we have an audit trail of our discussions and the work we have performed/promised.

1. TN got new Master Document List and Q3-Q4 files
2. Quality of data is much better as before

2009.12.22 TN Installs New Aspect Tree

1. Activity Codes added, installed it on both systems

2009.12.23 MS Emails Start to Bounce

1. From this date onwards emails sent to Martin Smith bounce
2. The only way to contact Martin is via telephone/sms or via email to Edina

2010.01.05 TN Visit to MS Office (13:00-18:00)

1. Clarifying terms of DrawMGT (MET System User Manual)
2. DrawMGT change requests

   • Menu groups Folder and Group should be moved to top position in left menu

   • Change font of status information for better visibility
   • All groups should be closed in left menu at first login
   • Document Code Components block should be opened at first login
3. Some menu, list items should be changed
   • Folders

     • Claims/Commercial -> Claims

     • Matrix Admin -> Admin

   • Document -> Document file

   • Document type -> Document format

     • Report -> Report Format

     • Program -> Program Format

     • Plan -> Drawing Format

     • Analysis - to be removed
   • Delete name of aspect values group in "Key Aspect" select list
4. Some select list must be bi-lingual

Discussion:

1. Claims spreadsheet

3. Explained that we have no plan
4. Explained that we have not spent any effort of public relations
5. Explained that we need short checklists explaining commonly performed procedures (in wiki)

2010.02.01 AH / AB (Andras Bleyer) Telephone call

1. Andras says:
   • Not completely satisfied with the result of last weeks meeting
   • Martin has until the end of this week to produce the finished handbook
   • He agrees that AH/TN can perform public relations works to help acceptance of the system (and probably that we can perform them)
2. I said to him:

   • I want to adopt Mary McGrath's working methods (e.g. use of a written plan, instructions and tracking)

   • I want to force Martin to produce a plan to the end of the quarter with:
     • List of required inputs
     • List of activities
     • List of deliverable
   • I want to upload Mary's documents directly with TN and MM and her assistant(s).
     • Goal of showing that it works well if you're organized
3. Next steps:
   • Wail until end of week to see the state of the handbook

   • Write email to Martin explaining how we will proceed (& BCC Andras/Kinga)

   • Write an outline for a plan for MET DrawMGT
   • Get list of procedures/fields from MM

  I am a little surprised you do not tel me when you cannot make it not just

  The work to be done is finishing what we started last week
  
  I worked all weekend checking the site and found quite a few inconsistencies
  as attached
  
  In my English version Q reference no not correct A123.1 ? what is this
  
  I cannot complete the manual if the screen layouts are not correct
  
  Eg Activity under block 2
  
  I am also waiting for Mary to give us the sub- details for 7 Assurance
  
  You need to come into this office so we can sort out what is still not to
  spec
  
  I have drafted a site map to try and understand the model better draft 1
  included Functionality Table of Menus ( not complete yet )
