V2 Launch Plan

Version History

Introduction

This version of the release plan contains:

  1. A series of timelines, each of which covers a specific aspect of the V2 launch
  2. Each timeline is presented in time sequence
  3. Collectively the timelines define the entire launch plan
  4. The timelines are grouped into categories

The next steps in developing the launch plan are to:

  1. Review:

    1. The list of timelines is complete
    2. Each individual timeline is complete
    3. The sequence of each timeline is appropriate
  2. Coordinate:

    1. Present the timelines in tabular form with one timeline per column
    2. The first column is the phase (e.g. milestone)
    3. For each phase, define which items in each timeline belong to it

The next version of the release plan should contain:

  1. Launch Table - The table of phases vs. timelines

  2. Phase List - The list of phase & their individual components
